In Dead Head Fred übernimmt der Spieler die Rolle des Dedektivs Fred Neuman. Nachdem dieser aber ermordet wurde und aufgrund bizarrer Experimente ohne Erinnerung wieder aufersteht, fängt das Spiel erst richtig an. Das Besondere an Dead Head Fred wird sein, dass der Spieler die enthaupteten Köpfe seiner Feinde verwenden kann, um damit die zu lösenden Geheimnisse aufklären zu können. Darüber hinaus wird das Spiel insgesamt 12 Minigames enthalten, die sich alle nach und nach freispielen lassen. Dead Head Fred soll in den USA am 16. Januar 2007 erscheinen. Ob und wann das Spiel auch in Deutschland auf den Markt kommt, ist noch nicht bekannt.
