- Trama -
Edward è un brillante scienziato che sta lavorando ad una cura per salvare la sorella rimasta sfigurata in un incidente stradale. Viene sperimentata una rivoluzionaria cura che prevede l'utilizzo di pelle di serpente alterata geneticamente. La ragazza durante la terapia muore improvvisamente: l'evento sconvolge Edward al punto di darsi fuoco per poter testare l'eperimento su se stesso. Ma qualcosa non va per il verso giusto e lo scienziato viene trasformato in Python, creatura con la forza e la velocità di un serpente letale. Due anni dopo, Python, a capo di una potente organizzazione malavitosa, viene fronteggiato da David, agente della Ghost Squad, un'unità speciale anti terrorismo. In uno scontro tra i due, David muore ma il contatto con sostanze tossiche modifica irrimediabilmente il suo DNA. Ora anche David ha dei poteri sovrannaturali tra cui quello di correre alla velocità della luce. "LightSpeed" è l'unico in grado di ostacolare Python che, accecato dall'odio, si appresta ad attuare un piano sovversivo contro Washington...
