'Another Way To Die', performed by Jack White and Alicia Keys, is the theme song to the 2008 James Bond film Quantum Of Solace. Written and produced by White, who also plays guitar and drums on the track, the song is the first duet in the Bond film series. The single has been released by White's label Third Man Records as a limited edition of 6000 7" singles in the U.S. on September 30th 2008, and on October 20th 2008 in the United Kingdom.
On October 5th 2008, the song entered the UK Singles Chart at No.26 on downloads alone, and has so far peaked at No.9. Also, it became Keys' first chart-topper in Finland, and charted inside the top ten in Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, and Norway. The music video for the song was released on Yahoo Video on September 29th 2008. It has since made its way onto YouTube and other video sharing sites. It features White on both guitar and drums and Keys singing and on piano, with video effects and CGI in the background featuring wavy lines and use of dawn and dusk. A shot of Daniel Craig as James Bond appears in the very last shot, which appeared in the theatrical trailer for the film.
