Jewel Kilcher [born May 23rd 1974 in Payson, Utah] is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and poet, generally known just by her first name, Jewel. She has received three Grammy Award nominations and sold over 27 million albums worldwide. She debuted on February 28th 1995 with the album, Pieces Of You, which became one of the best selling debut albums of all time, going platinum twelve times.
'Perfectly Clear' is the title of the seventh album recorded by American singer Jewel. Her first album of country music, it was released on June 3rd 2008. The album is composed of a mixture of new and old fan-favorite songs. Its lead single, 'Stronger Woman', peaked at No.13 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. John Rich, one half of the country rock duo Big & Rich, produced the album. Its second single, 'I Do', is set for release to country radio June 23rd 2008. The album debuted at No.8 on the Billboard 200 with 48,000 copies sold.
