Oh, by the Way is a compilation box set by Pink Floyd. The box set includes all of their standard studio albums packaged together as mini-vinyl replicas. In addition to the albums, and their extras, the set comes with a specially designed 40th Anniversary poster by Storm Thorgerson, featuring 40 Pink Floyd images. It was released on December 11, 2007. The title is a reference to a line in the song Have a Cigar: The band is just fantastic, that is really what I think / Oh by the way, which ones Pink? The box cover consists of a concept similar to that of Ummagumma - one side of the box shows a picture of a room with various objects scattered about inside it, with pictures of the main band members - Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright - on the walls, whilst the other side shows the same room in different lighting, with the objects and pictures of band members rearranged. In both images there is a man standing in silhouette in a doorway in the distance; he might represent Syd Barrett, or the mythical Pink.
Some criticism has arisen about the box set. No bonus material or early non LP hit singles are included. There are several mislabelings as well. Ummagummas live album and studio album CD labels are switched on some and the lyrics for side three of The Wall are printed on the third and fourth sides sections with the fourths lyrics given no representation at all, though EMI has taken steps to correct this with replacement sleeves for owners of the box set.
