SINOPSIS

Fred Claus (Vince Vaughn) ha vivido toda su vida a la sombra de su hermano pequeño Santa Claus. Aunque siempre trató de ser como él, nunca pudo igualar al ejemplar Nicolás Santa Claus (Paul Giamatti). Nicolás creció y llegó a ser un modelo de generosidad. Por el contrario, Fred no ha tenido ni demasiada suerte ni demasiado dinero. Un día, Nicolás quiere ayudar a su hermano, pero bajo la condición de que vaya al Polo Norte y gane el dinero que necesita trabajando en la fábrica de juguetes. Sin embargo, Fred está muy lejos de tener las cualidades de los duendes que trabajan allí. Las Navidades ya están muy próximas y es muy posible que Fred ponga en peligro la celebración más alegre de todo el año.
