to all you good people.. i am using this very OS as i type this. i have an HP that think its a DELL.. and it works great. THATS THE FACTS JACK!!!

it is not a bootable disc. its a fresh install disc. you will lose your original OS and most of your system drivers. back up your drivers before install. it will convert your compaq or hp to a dell machine.. but you will be able to use original drivers. but you will not be able to use original recovery. trust me.. i know. but it works just fine.
