Another few issues have risen. After playing the two previous games (ironically, I bought PT before dl'ing SC1) I have finally come to play this and:

Saving causes a crash error. Something about a buffer-overload. Other than that, the game runs perfectly.

This problem appears to be linked only to the save functionality. On the other hand, attempting to load a map per the "continue" option gives a graphical error, with nothing except the skybox loaded. No character, no textures, no models, no terrain; just the skybox.

Obviously being unable to save, or continue a game is going to seriously hinder my efforts at getting past the first mission. To that effect, I am now downloading a different copy of this game and wish everyone adiue. My experiences with this download have been disappointing at best.
